Reverend Dr. John Koppitch is our pastor, friend and travel guide. Every Sunday John brings new life to the bible’s ancient stories and lessons. His sermons don’t provide all the answers. They ask the questions that help each us find personal answers to our faith. John also teaches many classes, serves as head of staff, and provides pastoral care and visitation. He is married with two grown children. He has a B.A. from Macalester College, a M.Div. from Princeton Theological Seminary, and a D. John Schmid is our Director of Music and Studios. He is a respected teacher, performer and leader in the Indianapolis music community. He has been chorus master of the Indianapolis Opera for over 25 years. He brings energy, excellence and excitement to our music ministries. John loves commanding the Chancel Choir, developing our Youth Orchestra, leading our Bell Choir, and coaching courage and volume from our Children’s Choir. John has a B. Jennifer Loeb is our Director of Christian Development. Jennifer brings a love of learning and a deep compassion for people to her ministry at Fairview. While directing all of our Christian Education programs is major part of her responsibilities, Jennifer also works in the areas of pastoral care and visitation, stewardship, church growth, and preaching. She has a daughter in college and a son in High School. Jennifer is a Candidate for Ministry in the Presbyterian Church and is working toward her M.Div. degree at Christian Theological Seminary. As our Church Administrator, Bobbi Griffis handles everything from high finances to lowly basement floods. Her responsibilities include managing the church office, finances, building maintenance and usage. When you “need to know” or “need something done,” she is the person to contact. Bobbi has a B.S. in Business Administration from St. Mary-of-the-Woods College and an M.B.A. from the Graduate Theological Foundation. Early Childhood Program Director Melissa Peterson has a real passion for children. She began in ECP as a teacher assistant many years ago and worked her way up to serving as Director. Melissa has a B.S. Degree in Secondary Education from Indiana University and an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education from IUPUI.
