YOUTH FELLOWSHIP

Mid-High (grades 6 to 8) and Senior High (grades 9 to 12) youth programs meet regularly outside of the traditional Sunday School hour.  Programs and activities vary with the interests of the kids.  Travel, camping, and lock-ins are made possible through youth money-making projects such as serving meals to the congregation and making candy to sell.  Friends are always welcome.

Mission projects and trips encourage service, fun, and fellowship.  Mid-Highs have served in soup kitchens and participated in the annual Crop Walk.  Senior Highs helped construct homes in Juarez, Mexico .  They are planning a stateside mission trip during the summer of 2010.

The "Naptown Disciples’ is a youth group for 6th through 8th graders.  They meet on the 3rd Sunday of the month from 5:45-7:15.  There’s pizza, fun, games, bible study, and service projects.   At the same time, Kindergartners – 5th graders have their own “younger” youth group, with related, age appropriate activities.

Senior High students have their own unique Youth Group.  On the first three Sundays of the month they gather with Senior High students from nearby First Meridian Heights Presbyterian Church.  It’s a mix of fun, mission and serious discussions.  Yes there is food too.  Meetings are from 5:30-7:30 and include dinner.
