SUNDAY MORNING ADULT CLASSES

Seekers Class

Sunday morning at 9:45am

The Seekers class is a place you can bring your questions, opinions, and theological insights and contribute to a respectful, quality discussion.  Studies alternate between books of the Old Testament, New Testament, and thought provoking special topics. Participants moderate the discussion.  How often in your life are you able to be so honest with others?

Testimony:

Robin Miner - The Seekers Class has been one of my most meaningful experiences at
Fairview.  I learn from people who have studied the Bible for many years as well as from
those who ask insightful questions.  I feel free to share my personal faith in an environment where I know that I will not be criticized.

The Odyssey Class

Sunday morning at 9:45am

The Odyssey isn’t at all odd, it’s just different, and members like it that way.  They use the book The Present Word.  It is a “beginning to end” Bible study series.  Each weekly class is an independent lesson.  You can jump in any Sunday.    Members can take turns leading the class.  Don’t worry.  There is an easy “how to” study guide.   There aren’t any wrong answers, just a supportive environment to discuss how scripture lessons apply to our personal lives and spiritual journeys.  Like Odysseus, we set out on a challenging expedition to discover what it means to be a contemporary Christian.  Go ahead, Google Odysseus.

Testimonies:

Ed Towne - The Odyssey Class is a good old fashioned class.  But our study is anything but old fashioned.  Members take turns leading the lively discussions about understanding the Bible and its contemporary relevance.

Kaye Hirt - The Odyssey Class brings together people who share their ideas and faith, challenge each other, and help bring the message 'from Jerusalem to Indianapolis'.   We have an ever-widening circle for new people who want to journey with us!
