Fairview has a staff of experienced and highly-qualified teachers, each a master of their own instrument.  All teachers offer lessons to beginners as well as advanced students.

Byron Plexico

Byron plays viola with the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra.

Master of Music – Butler University.  Bachelor of Arts in Music, North Carolina School of Arts.  American Suzuki Institute

Susan Sieler

Susan teaches strings at the middle school (or elementary) level at the Key School in Indianapolis.  She also plays violin for the church’s 8:45 am worship service.  She has a Bachelors’ of Music (Piano and double bass) and Masters’ of Education – University of Incarnate WordSan Antonio, TX

* Suzuki Violin:  The Suzuki Method promotes learning to play music by ear through learning, absorbing and copying, in the same manner children learn their own language.  The Suzuki philosophy teaches that every child has infinite potential.  Parents are involved in the learning process, joining forces with the teacher to create an enjoyable learning environment. 

Group classes as well as private lesson are available

Lessons

Students receive private, weekly lessons.  Times and dates are flexible.
Tuition ranges from $80-$120 per month.  There is an annual $25 enrollment fee
