A Caring Place is a special loving place for adults requiring day care.  This program is operated by Catholic Social Services. 

bulletAbout A Caring Place Adult Day Services
A Caring Place provides a circle of friends in a warm, hospitable environment in which participants find the care and support they need that:
bulletHelps adults who have impairments maintain and improve their level of functioning.
bulletOffers participants the opportunity to socialize, enjoy peer support and receive health screening and social support in a stimulating environment that promotes better physical and mental health.
bulletMaximizes the participant's potential to function independently through socialization and interaction.
bulletProvides assistance, respite, and support to caregivers who have the responsibility for an older adult who cannot be left alone during the day but requires another level of care.
bulletHelps the elderly person who lives alone continue in the mainstream of society by providing supportive services.
bulletWho uses Adult Day Services?
Adult Day Services participants are those who are:
bulletfrail elderly/physically challenged
bulletconfused and/or forgetful
bulletisolated
bulletin need of special assistance and social interaction
bulletconfined to wheelchair and/or walkers
bulletsuffering from limited bladder incontinence
bulletWhat is the cost of Adult Day Services?
There is a daily fee.  Some participants will be eligible for financial assistance through The Archdiocese of Indianapolis, United Way of Central Indiana, CICOA - The Access Network, Veterans Administration, Indiana Department of Human Services, and individual contributions.
bulletIs transportation available?
Transportation is limited.  Discussion with staff for available opportunities is encouraged.
bulletWhat are the hours of operation?
Our center operates 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday.  Attendance is flexible to meet your needs.
