Fairview Presbyterian Church

Service to others is a primary way we respond to God's love for us. For many years, Fairview has operated programs which serve the needs of young children and older adults. We are partners in mission with community organizations like the Julian Center, Wheeler Mission, Martin Luther King Multi-Service Center, Celebration of Hope, Caring Community, Bread for the World. We recently helped an inner-city church in Accra, Ghana to construct a building for their youth programs.

In 2008 Fairview is lead sponsor on a Habitat for Humanity of Greater Indianapolis House of Abraham. Constructions starts around September. We worked on last year's house as well.

Our Senior Highs have joined forces with First Meridian Heights Presbyterian Church's Senior Highs on a couple of mission trips to Juarez, Mexico where they helped build a house with Casas Por Cristo (picture below).

We reach out to people in the name of Christ through the love and witness of each and every member and friend of the parish. Fairview is open every day of the week as a mission to our community. These are just a few of the programs sharing our building:

Early Childhood Programs offer creative child care in a loving, stimulating environment. A professional staff of teachers lead pre-school children on a path of discovery, self-esteem and friendship.

Fairview Studios provide excellent, professional instruction to musicians and vocalists of all ages and abilities.

A Caring Place is a special loving place for adults requiring day care. This program is operated by Catholic Social Services. For more information call Sister Susan Dinnin at 317-466-0015.

Our annual Fish Fry is one way we raise funds to further our mission.
